Aerobird tail mod suggestions
Hello all!
I am getting ready to paint and mod my new tail and was seeking advice on which mod technique to use. So far, I have been able to narrow down to 2 different mods: 1.) extending the control surfaces all the way out to the tip.. or 2.) adding surface to the end of the current surfaces. Extending their length. Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of either techinique? I have foam from my old tail(s) and wing(s) that I would like to use. I want to do this as simple and inexpensive as possible... Thanks in advance! -RC Sumo |

Probably the same effect with either approach. Both worked about the same for me. I prefer to extend the elevator surface to the tip so I have increased control surface area AND it will still fit in the box for storage and travel.
