U/Tronics Control

I have been involved with Electronic control for Control Line models for many years. In 1982 I modified a Kraft Transmitter and Receiver to allow control of 4 servos through the two flying lines.

Since then I have been supplying the electronics for Control Line Electronic Control. I call my system "U/Tronics Control" for U/Control with Electronics Added. The Encoder (transmitter) board in my system is 1.2 x 1.7 inches (31 x 44 mm) for any system from 4 to 7 channels. The Decoder (receiver) is 0.9 x 1.2 inches (23 x 31 mm) (4 to 7 channels) plus the output leads that connect to the servos.

I have attached pictures of a 4 channel unit that I built to see how small it could be built. It measures 2 x 4 x 1 1/2 inches (50 x 100 x 33 mm). and weighs 6 ounces complete with battery. For the 4 channel Encoder there are only 9 wires to connect up plus 3 jumper wires.

I have also attached a schematic of a complete 4 channel system.

I also sell a Single Channel U/Tronics Control unit.

As I stated above, I also provide a U/Tronics Single Channel unit.

The attached schematic shows how simple it is to have electronic throttle control. My unit is built on a 0.4 x 1.0 inch (10 x 25 mm) circuit board.
Weighs about 1/4 ounce (7 g).

I have also added pictures of my Single Channel unit and the Encoder and Decoder for my Multi Channel system.

The coin in the pictures is a US Quarter, .94 inch (24 mm) in diameter.
