1st CP heli

Hey Guys,
My first CP heli is on the way and I've been reading as much as possible about it. Couple of questions though.

I have a V450D01 w/devo7
Should I leave the factory settings as for throttle points and pitch curve?
I understand Throttle hold but have read numerous setting idea's.
Can someone please tell me what a beginner with CP should use?
Any other useful information would be appreciated.
thanks

Ron Lund has a youtube channel where he explains all of this in great detail. The transmitter is a DX8, but the theory is universal. Watch this...

I would suggest some training legs to make your heli wider feet exagerated, helps you to avoid tipping your heli over.

Trianing gear on FBL helis is bad news. It effects the gyros. Old school for dinosoars used them. I have V450D01 V2 and Devo 7. Heli flys great out of the box. seek help if possible.

Some say yes/ some say no. When i started to fly 450's found it better to remove training gear. Some like them and hey what ever floats your boat.
If you use them just make sure area is clear. Might snag somerhing with large foot print. V450D03/ V450D01 very stable easy to fly c/p's. Good luck and happy landings.
