Starmax F22 64mm Power Options?
Happy New Year Everyone,
I have a Starmax f22 64mm that I am assembling for spring. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts regarding power options for this plane. Should I stay with the stock 5 blade EDF? The manufacturer recommends a 3s 1350mah battery. Off hand, with no experience on its flight characteristics, I feel its a bit low on the mah's. This could provide some very short flights? Does 40c discharge sound reasonable?
Should I even bother with a 3s? Should I move to 4s? I've installed the landing gear anticipating that since the plane is difficult to grasp, a hand launch may be difficult as well. I have experience flying my 50mm F-86 and Viper so I come in with a bit of knowledge. Any comments on the F22 will be most welcomed. Thanks !!
