I use DevFus. Easy is subjective. Not sure of your background in CAD.
It is a GREAT program, but it does have a learning curve unless you want to make a simple box fuselage; which you really don't need the program for then. Also will need a CAD program to export to as the output will need tweaking for an actual build.

i m not that good in cad but can do little thing with it. so let see what i can do with it

3d max studio 9 is what what i use for my graphics

i use sketchup (not to good to make stuff accurate with) and pro desktop 8 (very old but i get it free from my school, works fine for me). funny thing is, its interface is exactly what i see in my head when i design something, the buttons are even in the right place!

There is a plugin that will output gcode for a cutting machine. Works really well.
For 3d you need come cam software.

what you need is the SketchUCam plugin for Sketchup. It is very easy to use though the 3D (2.5D) side of it leaves a bit to be desired. For 2.5 / 3D, something like PyCAM would be a better choice than the plugin. It would be nice to have a plugin to export to PyCAM or some such, sort of like the plugin for povray, but it's all easy enough as is. If your just cutting formers / ribs / etc., simple 2D parts, then Sketchup / ScetchUCam is a decent and cheap (free) way to go.

It is a simple 2D software package that you can Download for Free.

Draftsight is limited in that it only works with DWG and DXF files.

I recently bought Turbocad Deluxe 2D / 3D. It can import and export files
in a Lot more formats.

I still have to teach myself how to Use Turbocad in a Productive manner.

There really is No way around that Learning Curve.

I saw you had a thread that spoke about a Cad bin but it's very old. What ever happened to that? Was there a bin made up for that?

You can take a class, but I learned by modeling parts that were already made. Basically reverse engineering. When you get stuck the help button is your best friend.

I use CAD on a daily basis (AutoCad and MicroStation). But after moving to Windows 7, my old copies stopped running. Recently I bought TurboCAD 19 DeLuxe ($90.00), and it works well. But now there is a much better option which is DraftSight. It is made by Dassault Systems, and the best part, it is FREE. It looks and feels like AutoCad, 2D only, but for drawing plans it is perfect!
