Looks fantastic.
The Nex 7 shoots 1080p 60i or progressive?

Jeff, I don't know if you have always been a great videographer or not, but sure are now! I always enjoy your videos. Not only are they smooth but you pan slow enough so that anyone watching can enjoy them. Thanks for sharing!

great video and great location. On your super slow and smooth pans, was that the CineStar or yaw of multicopter?

Thanks all for the kind words!

The pans are from the Cinestar 6 yawing. I could never produce that with my single rotor helis.

The NEX 7 will do both 60i and 60p at 1080x1920.

Cheers,
Jeff

Oh.... that's a bad answer.

I was fairly settled in buying a Nex 5N and now I'm going to put my brain on a spit debating whether to break the piggy bank and get a Nex 7.

Why ? The Nex 5N has the same movie modes as the Nex 7 and with the same sensor size, I doubt movies are going to look much different..

Really?, I thought the 5N only shoots 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Goes to chec specs...

Hey, you are right!

You probably got it confused with the old Nex 5 which doesnt have 1080p at 60fps, and has totally different insides than the Nex 5N, which does make it confusing for people.
