identity issues

Hi forum, this is a first post here so if I'm out of line or off topic please let me know.

for the last month I'v been looking around for a place my project could fit in, because my Mule(see below)
does the same things as a lawn tractor I thought maybe it could be one, but the tractor people told me no
it's not a lawn tractor.

Because my Mule has an ROV mode could it be called one?

Pretty interesting, not really an ROV (they normally go underwater) but very cool nonetheless.

Out of interest how does it navigate and know where it has already plowed?

Hi
Thatís a real interesting machine you got there.
Before you move away can you expand a little on its control and sensors.
There is a Tank section in the cars forum here. They would be interested in your creation there for sure.

Well the Mule has three control modes
1) RC(bluetooth palm size keyboard) for hauling potting soil or loading the Mule in a pickup and things like that.
2) UGV (Wifi) controlled by remote PC in house, are now plowing snow is done in that mode.
3) Programmable(on-board PC) this mode is used for mowing grass and picking up dead leaves.

and sensors.
The Mule has two high count encoders(soon to be five), 3 axis gyro, 3 axis accelerometer, digital compass, one web cam connected to the Mule's PC for localization, the Mule has three network cameras(Wifi) used in UGV mode.

Too bad the Mule couldn't be a ROV. it even sounds better then UGV
