I don't know when will pilots learn not to stick their hands or fingers into moving props or fans? I still see on regular basis people starting 50+cc models with no restrains and trusting their idles, total madness! There is a "LAW" you don't touch primed prop or fan, it's simple as that! you always use stick, fingers don't grow back, Joe.

Actually it seems to be healing along nicely now I got the stitches out on wednesday and so far so good. Even had the confidence to start building my little GWS P-40, got most of it done however Z-bending the pushrods and tightening their little clevises is a no no as I don't quite have full movement and strength back....but I will

Yesterday I finnally got everything on good shape for flight.

Good weather good wind everything correct on the plane and radio program on well done.

Only in the F-100 I made 5, 4,5 min, flights, beautifull smooth and very good handing.

The langing with hi nose is great and the eletric retracts are great too, doing their jobs.

The new location of the esc in front of the EDF got to an easier installation and a good cable access (which will be shorter)

For finishing, filling the lines with filler, sanding, 25 g/m2 fiber with PU finish , PU finish , acrylic painting, sanding, paint before finishing, making lines graving (with a pen that does not write) and finishing paint ; If the result is not good, we restart with the acrylic, sanding ....Much time !!

That looks like the best location for that fan, I could've kept mine simple and moved it back like you did and not cut into the foam for the lip

I tried to fly mine the intake from the fuse and it was a dog...
