Hello all. So I bought a blade mqx about 2 months ago and i got the bug to go bigger so I did research on here and with the help of some of you I ordered the parts from HK to build my own quad.

Parts list. Q450 frame
Hobbyking KK2.0 Multi-rotor LCD Flight Control Board
Hobby King 30A ESC 3A UBEC
Turnigy D2830-11 1000kv Brushless Motor
Turnigy 9X 9Ch Transmitter w/ Module & 8ch Receiver (Mode 2) (v2 Firmware)
Hobby King Quadcopter Power Distribution Board
Everything came last night. I stayed up till 2am building it. I had some troubles with Props, transmitter reversal, programming etc. But after i did some more research while at work today and when i got home i went back to it.
I flashed the ESCs with SimonK firmware.
Flashed the KK2 with new 1.5 firmware.
Figured out the Tx Rx with a lot of research. Setup switch for Self leveling.
calibrated ESCs
Figured out the props and i was off the ground about a foot in my apartment.
I through on headlights and went to the park even though it was dark. I just got back and man i am so happy with the turnout. I cant believe how well it flew with and without self leveling. With self leveling on it was so easy to fly..Im gonna keep it on for a while until i get better at flying.
Next is hooking this thing up with an APM2.5. I fried the one i ordered a few weeks ago last night because i hooked it right up to the power distribution board. Its ok cause now it gives me time to get better at flying with the KK..
Thanks everyone for all your help. I cant believe it actually worked. Last night at 2am it wasnt looking good for me.
