I was there on the 4th..... willing to go back absolutely any time im off work... I have a friend who was a air force pilot in the 50s and 60s who is has practically memorized the whole place.
when you go, sign up for the bus to the experimental hanger first thing... youl need a drivers licence or passport.
I would like to organize a large enough group on a Friday and go on the "behind the scenes tour" Right now they are restoring the Memphis Belle and one of those experimental Flying saucer planes that you see on the discovery wings commercials.

Actually, I'm going down to visit my daughter March 27 thru March 30th. The USAF museum is on the way To Bloomington, Ind., so I was planning to stop either on the way down or on the way back.
