Question
JR10X and telemetry

Hi,

I have a JR10X with a DM9 module.
Does anyone know if there is a way to recieve any telemetry with this radio?
All I am looking for is battery\voltage

Other than the training port I don't really see a data port or does it double as a data port.

The transmitter cannot, but if you can find an STi module and iPhone you can use your transmitter/DM9 to get telemetry into the phone.

Thanks Andy! I have never seen this before. Looking at it on the Spektrum website, SPMTR1000
So I would still need a TM1000 or 1100, go ahead and bind it with my JR, then I could use it with my iPhone. Am I reading this right?

I guess I'll have to order it online since it doesn't show up at my LHS website.

Thanks again.

You need to bind tx, rx, tm, and sti all at the same time. Otherwise, yes, that's it.

I think the module is $25 now.

Hmm... So far the only place I have found it is PowerHobby and it about $70
For $25 I'd go ahead and buy it

Thanks for the info!

Looks like it's officially discontinued now. I didn't realize that. http://www.horizonhobby.com/sti-tele...face-spmtr1000

Try BVM: http://shopbvmjets.com/zencart/index...roducts_id=761

It's real easy to install a FrSky DHT-U TX with telemetry and SD card data recording. Just 3 wires to connect to the module pins and clamp the module to the 10X antenna.

Set modulation to PPM and you are on 2.4 GHz with telemetry. Been using that combination in one of my JR 10X TX for 2 plus years. No problems, no lock outs, no brown outs etc.

Hmm... I'm really not familiar with this at all. Is this DSM2 compatable?
Searching the web now but I'm not sure exactly what your talking about.
Can you point me to a URL with more information please?

Thanks,

No, it's not compatible. You would need to have a new receiver in your plane as well as the new module for your radio.
