Do You kiss Your TX before take off/launch?
I've seen on many videos that RC pilots are kissing their TX before take off
or hand launch. Is this common habit among RC pilots? To me it looks a bit funny and I begin to understand why discussiong about which radio system is best turn into religious ...  I also would like to urge those who support this habit to kiss their RX, because if kissing the TX helps I'm pretty sure the RX is jealous ...

I suppose it's safer than kissing the spinner
 I just hope the plane doesn't kiss the ground.

My preflight ritual is to check that the control surfaces are working properly, just for luck.

I'm fairly certain that what you are seeing is the pilot increasing the throttle with his mouth before hand launching

+1 on hand launching, that's how I do it when I throw my wing, one hand on the TX, the other on the wing and the throttle stick gets moved by my mouth,,,,What Ya Gona Do???
