Inevitably, it's already backordered.

But the Mode 1 transmitters are in stock, it says.

A year or so ago, Flysky mentioned a new 6ch 2.4GHz transmitter with an LCD screen. There was a short thread here about it ( http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ighlight=fs+t6 ) but nothing ever came of it. At least, I never saw any such thing actually for sale. Only their older 6ch transmitter that had no LCD screen and no servo-reversing switches.

Now, both HobbyKing and Hobbypartz are advertising a new 6ch.

Hobbyking's is marked "Turnigy": http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=24903

...and Hobbypartz's is marked "Flysky": http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-t6-6ch-radio-lcd.html

Oddly, their respective pictures look somewhat different. HobbyPartz's picture looks like the one from last year's thread, while HobbyKing's looks a little different.

Hobbypartz's Flysky FS-T6:

HobbyKing's Turnigy 6XS:

Image from a year ago, from FlySky's website:

Go figure......

.

The 9-channel FlySky 9x is also sold under both the FlySky and Turnigy labels (and others), but the various 9-channel "versions" look virtually identical, except for differences in stick-on labels, and (physically identical) displays showing different brand names and images from their software.

Odd that these two 6ch "versions" have cases (or at least pictures of cases) that look so different. If they actually are different, I wonder in the internal circuitry is identical?

Inquiring minds want to know.....!

He's quiet, he's quick.....

Nitroplanes and Xheli (both are part of Hobbypartz, correct?) are also advertising the same FlySky FS-T6 that Hobbypartz is. For some reason Nitroplanes and Xheli don't show pictures of the transmitter, while Hobbypartz does.

Did Hobbypartz fake a picture from the old FlySky website ad that never got off the ground?

I hope it maintains the PC interface and that people hack into the SW for enhancements!

Since the title of this thread is for the Turnigy one, I'm continuing with the Flysky Thread
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1720333

Manual is up there and a link to an info thread where I can post things that I can't store on RCG.

A way to modify the stick motion curve (exponential)which is normaly linear. Not usually availlable with basic transmitters!

The Flysky one look much better with a huge black lite LCD screen but man it consume eight AA batteries which get more chance of poor spring connection. Hobbyking always back order for those nice items.

People, don't mix up things! They are extremly different. Turnigy 4x/ 6x versus Flysky T6.
Yes they are both 6ch but that is all. Each has it's own pluses and minuses.

Do any of these have expo and a three position switch?

Could really use the expo instead of the helicopter stuff these usually have.
