Tiger crazy

This message from Electricflyjim@aol.com brought to you by EFLIGHT!

Hi all! I have a yen for Tiger Moths, I did 12 unforgettable hours in the
full size whilst in the RAF, that was many years ago. I am now an aged
electric power addict, sold all the engines awhile ago.
I now want to build a Tiger from a plan (I have a plan but it is a kit plan
which gives only restricted info`, not enough to make a good build) The
model I would like to build must be E powered, the ideal wingspan for me is
around 48 inches. CAN ANYONE HELP?
James in the UK

There are quite a few moth kits and ARF's around these days. As well as the
plans Thayer recommended, he also did an excellent conversion article which
will give you some ideas about power plants.

Hi James, Lots of times you get great help from this list, but not always;
to wit: Ive had a lot of fun with the GWS foam T.M. which comes with a 400
geared motor and prop for about $80 US, However they sell a "glider model"
(identical without the power system and unpainted ) for $40. I have modified two:
one with top wing only, the other with low wing only.

both fly amazing well.

Some locals have installed small brushless/Lipos and get great acrobatics,
