Hoping that the wisdom out here can help me. Got a YB-22 Park model and it's a ton of fun except for the excessive torque roll to the left at about 3/4 to full throttle. Am using 1300 3cell, DS6i, 7x5 prop. I did program about 40% expo in it. With the 7x5 prop the torque roll is insane and after a few tries I don't dare run it much beyond half throttle. I added a couple of finishing nail in the right wing as the manual suggests but no change. I went to a 6x4 prop and it was a little better but still I cannot give it enough right stick (turn) to counteract the roll. Anybody out here have any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

What is the motor KV?

2200KV with a 7X5 is a little much for the YB's. You should go with a smaller prop with less pitch.

I ended up with a 5x5 that seems to work ok. Tried a 6x4 & still a lot of torque roll. The 5x5 seems a litttle weak though

The Full size YB's were designed around the 1700KV motor and a 7X5 APC. 2200KV and 5X5 May give you better top speed but less vert.

I too have this problem, but on a different airframe. It's an Radical Rc Hornet with a Great Planes Ammo 28-45-3600 motor swinging a Graupner 5X5 prop at like 32000 rpm on a 3 cell pack. The torque roll at full tilt is enough to roll the plane with just a bit less force than full opposite aileron can overcome. I used a program mix of throttle to aileron to overcome this but of course that is just adding drag whick slows the plane...What else can be done, besides letting off the throttle?
