Somehow i was under the impression that the Red bird was a glide hawk.. Come to think of it, your orange bird is the GH. It didn't look that big to me.

Anyway, I would like to see those pictures too.
All the birds with the exception of Slow Hawk and Park Hawk are in the clip filmed by Frank R of Netherlands.

Hi Chester
I thought you would hold on to the hopper forever.
Your old GHXL is doing great and flies almost every weekend. Very powerful bird.
Still flying on the spars that came with it.
Enjoy your 'Robert' bird.

I think the bird is going to out live me he is about 33 human age. I also have my 'Whiteboy" for over 3 years, he came over and selected my place to be his retirement house.

Yep, I was watching the clip Frank took and everyone around me love that bird, all got pissed after I told them my intention. Besides, for some reason, the Slow Hopper is telling me wanting to stay here in San Francisco.

Rick - I am so happy to hear you are flying it every weekend. Life is good, excellent. Thanks for keeping it in one piece - remember - that is the only Glide Hawk XL exist. I hope Keith is having good time with his Lazy Hawk too.

Regards

Chester

No worries Rick: no regrets for me.
An ornithopter more or less in my collection will not change anything.
I already made two prototypes ornithopters in 2004 and 2005, with 4 wings "in phase": the phoenix

and Meganeura.

I'll make probably a Big Slow Hooper with four wings "out of phase" when I have some time.
Good Flapping to all
