Well i found it while searching on google for electric rc gliders, i also liked the looks of it, but couldn't find very much info about it... So i took the gamble and ordered one from Schweighofer in Austria, since i also live in europe, it only took three days before it got delivered...
Esprit model has one in stock aswell: http://www.espritmodel.com/kadet-sport-2e-arf.aspx thnx demon, it's a 4 channel ![]() Like i said before, i don't have a whole lot of time this weekend, so i didn't do much on it yet, only installed the engine mount/front bulkhead and part of the servo/battery tray, i also openend up the cooling inlets... i'll try take make a few photo's tomorrow, but no promisses... |

Right, so i got my servo's in yesterday and of course i couldn't restist myself, so installed the rudder servo right away (no photo yet) and installed the elevator servo:
![]() But now i have a small bit of a problem... I can't seem to make up my mind about how to attach the elevator pushrod to the elevator... Originally you have to glue a small plastic tube to the elevator where the pushrod just simply slides in example: http://img4.rajce.idnes.cz/d0409/6/6.../019.jpg?ver=0 Now i did find a few pictures of a german guy and he modified the pushrod and used a normal control horn and quicklink: http://www.rc-network.de/forum/attac...1&d=1272996999 So what solution do you guys think is best? The biggest advantage of the small plastic tube is of course that you can easily remove the horizontal stabilizer... But than its just a real small tube (o.d. 3mm and 15mm long) so i am a bit worried about how well it will hold... |

I am fond of using a very thin bead of Household Goop to secure fiberglass hatches and covers to fiberglass structures. The bond is very secure but if you need to remove the hatch just slowly pry the hatch/cover away from the structure and the Goop will stretch and release. You can easily remove all traces of the Goop. I am not sure if it is sold in your country but here is the manufacturer's webpage: http://www.eclecticproducts.com/household.htm

Hey Jim,
Eventually i made up my mind and went for the original way as per installation guide, that is a little plastic tube, glued with two-part epoxy adhesive. After the glue dried i also applied a small strip of oracover over the plastic tube and elevator (also per instructions). The biggest advantage of this all, is that the horizontal stab is easily removable (less chance of damage during transport) Thanks for the compliment of my storage/carrier thingy... Still need to drill a few holes in it and put a few peices of rope on it for easy carrying. Gr, Sjaak |

That's what I've about decided to do. There did not look to be enough clearance in the angle the top of the rudder to have the clevis/horn configuration in the pic that you found on the net. IMO, without ailerons, I want the rudder to turn when I need a turn. Good flying, Jim |
