X-UFO Battery Advice Needed

I have a Li-Poly 11.1v Battery Pack marked 15C is this safe enough to power my SilverLit UFO ?
Last thing I want to do is damage the circutboard,,
I have some long Cable ties..

This is the sort of Battery I was thinking of using:
Li-poly 11.1v
Or should I just stick with the normal Battery Pack, which only lasts about 5mins

Nutty, you will probably get better response if you tell the forum what the SilverLit UFO requires in terms of volts and amps. What is the normal battery?

A 12 volt Ni battery at full charge is about 14.5 volts. An 11.1 LiPo batttery at full charge is about 12.6 volts, so no danger of overvoltage. Don't know what current your craft draws, so difficult to guess how the voltage will sag under load.

However, the LiPo you are looking at weighs 145 grams while your Ni pack probably weighs less than 80 grams. No idea what a SilverLit UFO is - can it handle the extra weight at a reduced voltage?

Don't forget, you need a charger specifically designed to charge LiPos.

BTW, welcome to RC Groups.
