Might have been asked before, but I am to busy counting money to read all the replies on here...

Price of the M4 will be around 100 euros, right?!
When is it coming out?!
Can be used for bigger birds, right?!
Is there anything else needed to make this sucker fly?! I believe not?!
The M4 will not require all that "complicated" nonsense when it comes to calibrating, right?!

thank you,

KMD

1. Yes, around 100 for the board
2. Public Beta was planned for mid August but not sure. Documentation needs to be tailored first
3. Yes, will support 4 PWM ESCs soon and up to 16 motors via CAN bus later
4. Depends on. There will be bare boards where you need a frame and motors for a Nano, Micro, Mini Quads and there will be a few B&F (bind and fly) versions:
http://forum.autoquad.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=3602
5. Excellent static&dynamic calibration never has been "nonsense".
But yes, we now have a simplified calibration process:

I like the version where the FC serve as the frame.
Why is there almost no picture of that version ?

Just asking..

Yes, the CrazyFlie style. You could also use some motors&mounts from HobbitKing.
They press fit on the arms - easiest and lightest way to get the M4 airborne.

Norbert,

Sorry, never said thanks for the fast reply...

1. Very nice!
2. "Planned" is always a funny word, when it comes to release dates, ha ha. Is there a way to sign up somewhere, and get an email, once it is out?
3. I don't get it? As out right now, it can be used with non PWM esc's, right?! Aren't most esc's non PWM?!
4. LOL, I actually meant if you need any other piece of cable, GPS puck or what not, to use the M4 as controller?!
5. Nonsense!

Glad the calibration process has been cut from 5 days to 5min....

I need one NOW! Let me be the first to get one, and I will take care of all your parking tickets!

thanks,

KMD
