Dreams do come true!

I am in love, pure and simple! I have never wanted any specific aircraft more than I am wanting this one, and having not seen one first hand yet....ohhhh.!!! Fast, small, agile....vertically aggressive, rolls like bullet....who wouldn't want one of these?

I was planning on buying a Radian come mid-September, sort of as a gift from myself and my wife...to myself...for having done decent on my recent finals...but it looks like the Radian is going to have to wait, the Beast just made it to the top of my "to buy" list!!!!!!!!

Oh...I see the Beast making longer threads in the future than those for the Super Cub here in RCGroups!! Oh yes, this is THE plane!

Well, I'm off...time to watch those videos a few hundred times!

I wonder if there's going to be a pre-release preview/review of this?! Can't wait to see more of this plane in flight!

Depending on how soon they ship them, mine might have a lot of real dead mosquitoes on the wing..

It would be pretty hard to do 3D on this airplane since it flys so fast! The preview said it was an IMAC airplane that can do some 3D.

I think you are talking about Sean Tucker (poweraerobatics.com) when it comes to team oracle and well his plane is a wolf pitts (wolfpitts.com) and not a Model 12. Its a total custom pitts but you could basically say its christen eagle fuse, ultimate pitts wings w/ curvy tips, airfoiled tail, and sleek (wolf designed) cowling.

But the beast is a modified model 12 pitts.

The Beast and Sean Tuckers "Oracle Challenger" are extremely modified Pitts aircraft...can't even call em S-12s, really. Actually, The Oracle craft was custom built for Sean to his exacting specs. I haven't done research on The Beast yet...just saw the blurb in the catalogue...but now I've certainly become interested!

(I'll be looking into the full-scale Beasts' stats for sure...love f/s aircraft I do! I won't get all drooly over the Hanger9 version...coz I know I'll never be able to own/afford her.)

Bud, going to an airshow soon Bud

Every pilot modifies their aircraft! Haven't seen any biplanes yet besides the oracle challenger. The full sized beast is crazy expensive! You could buy 10 sukhoi xps for the price of the airframe! The micro beast is perfect since it is small and some what priced lower.

Are these the batteries for this plane?

Figure I might want to order these and put them on the slow boat from HK.

Bud and others,

Re: Full scale airshow machines.

Tucker's current airplane is NOT a Pitts, is not made up of Model 12 or PITTS or EAGLE parts. It is a clean sheet of paper design by Steve Wolf originally created for Wyche Coleman of Louisiana. Steve and his crew built the Yellow one for Wyche, Tucker flew it and ordered an airframe from wolf. The airplane Tucker bailed out of a few years ago had some pitts and eagle parts in it as well as Wolf parts.

The Beast is one of 4 singe seater Model 12s we have built here. We produce the Model 12 plans, kits, and complete airplanes. There are no Pitts or Eagle parts in a model 12, Beast, etc. We designed and built the Beast for Bryan Jensen who flies it in airshows.

I worked with Quique/HH with details on the Beast 100 and the UMX Beast. The exclusive arrangement we have with HH for the aircraft we build gives us great confidence that we can be proud to associate with the people and products that carry our names. I am very pleased with both Beasts, 100 and UMX, and will have at least one as soon as they come out.
