Thanks guys, the answers made sense. Just saw Bonedoc's youtube channel, these planes are impressive.

Are the foam 3D planes rather crappy compared to balsa ones?

there are some maneuvers (especially anything close to a tumble) that foam planes simply cannot do.

Try flying slower. Mine are much more manageable with less throttle.

Not all of them. The Twisted Hobbes foamies I have had did great precision. So did my depron foamies I used to have from fancy foam a few years back.

I had a DW Foamies (Depron) 40" Juka that would ball up like a piece of used chewing gum. It may have been the exception as far as foamies go. Would definitely go with Depron if you're practicing precision and extreme aerobatics on a foamie and you are beyond "learning" 3D.

Have had several DW Foamies and they all flew quite nicely.

3DHS 103" Extra

Can someone tell me the distance from the main wheels to front of the horizontal stab and to the rear wheel on the 103"? Doesn't have to be exact just close. I'm making a safety stand that needs to hold the 103"

Thanks

Never mind. I found the thread for the 61" Extra 330LT. Next year planning on replacing my current 60" span 3D model so this is definitely a contender.
