The JW was made for Parker. Look forward to hearing what else can go fast there today.

Nice going on the JW Parker record.

Thanks for being so welcoming to a visitor from MN on November, 3rd. 2014.
It was great to hang out with a few of the Parker regulars for an afternoon.

John's JW looked really good! Awesome build! Best flying JW I've seen for sure. (Bruce's bio-gyro + hobbyking gyro = On Rails). Probably could have gone faster but Bruce said the elevator was getting weak like maybe the control surfaces were twisting under load... Otherwise, the wing showed no sign of stress.

Nicely done John and Bruce!

Do you think the fiberglass fuse made any difference? Were the surfaces bagged?

No surprise there. Parker has every bit the speed potential of any other hill,
but it's a tighter groove (bowl shaped), and landings with big heavy planes are tougher
than Weldon.

BTW, because this JW had a HK gyro in it, it'll never appear on any of
Chris's speed lists. *poof*

Am curious about the control surfaces too.

Wow congratulations John and Bruce..
I guess that big winds like that explain why when I came home from out of town there were trashcans and lawn furniture all over the yard!
Yay Parker!!
