I flew mine in the street in front of the house. Couldn't resist...haven't gotten much stick time lately. Still my favorite! I got an EF 48" and its not as forgiving, it will wing rock and tip stall easier than the 3dhs.

Yup, the EF 48" planes seem to need to be flown a bit more aggressively than the similar sized 3DHS planes. They are a bit heavier and are normally flown on 4S rather than 3S.

That is funny about the ef 48. Guy shows up at the field struggling with his ef..just all fast stuff and not able to slow it down. I suggested trying 3s and a 14x7...it just got uglier. Couldn't tell if it was him or the bird. I love my 60" ef's and my 48 3dhs.

The 3dhs edge on 4s is an animal and is every bit as capable as an EF plane on 4s.

I never said the 3DHS Edge is not capable, I said the EF planes need to be flown aggressively..

No knock on the ef from me either. ..just "looked" challenging to slow it down. Like the look and the cf gear...other than that I will stay with the buck huck and versatile 3s precise or 4s rocket. 2 planes..one price!
