I think it a .048 OD tephlon tube with a .015 stainless steel cable. Please don't hold me to those exact measurements, my ruler only goes to sixteenth. BSD has always tried to include everything in his Kits but, the electronics. My guess is the Kit would contain the 2mm laser cut Depron sheets, Plus a extra sheet of Depron for bottom covering and battery hatch, 1/64" laser cut Plywood Pylon, Battery Tray, and Rudder, Elevator Horns, Tubing and Cable, and a solid foam block for nose. Right now this is only my guess, it will be up to Bob to decide. Keep Them Flying ! Your Friend, Ken

YES, the Drake flies nice, but NO the Triton does not look anything like it. More Battery compartment area, longer Fuselage, T-type tail, flat back Turtle Deck, more Wing area, and the Floats are mounted to wing, not out the side of the body. Other then that, I guess they both look like airplanes. I hope you will enjoy building a TRITON in the near future. Keep Them Flying ! Your friend, Ken

Hey Ken,
Great Work man! I wish I still had my bits and pieces from a UM Mustang I had. May have to scrape together parts and give this one a whirl. Orion PS. I used to live in Joplin about 7 years ago. Went to college at MSSU. Have family and friends up there that I intend to visit this spring. May have to get together and do some flying. |

Very cool, Ken! Nice work!
Pretty much taught myself to fly (and love micros) with the Kyosho Miniums and now have transferred my love of full-sized seaplanes/bush planes to my hobby addiction! So what? So I am LOVING this plane! For the price of a burger and a couple pops I could be flying off most of the puddles around here! I'll be making MY purchase ASAP. ![]() -Scott |

Like Petefoss said in post 54. I doubt if I, myself will ever build a larger version of the Triton. But, I know someday someone will. I love small airplanes that I can drop into a small box and transport anywhere. I very seldom go to a indoor event with less then twenty micros with me. I sure if anyone built or wanted to build a smaller Triton, Joe Malinchek or Robert Guillot would be my choice. They are very outstanding craftsman. But again, I think their are very, very many more people in the world much more talented then I. I only hope someday to be considered for that list. Keep Them Flying ! Your friend, Ken
