I know when something is outta line!
The root end of the aileron is different to the tip dimension!
(Both sides!)

Jim can adjudicate!

Hi Johann ,
While we have been having some cold weather I've been messing around with solid works.
The plan is to make a pair of aluminium molds at work for this classic design as its easier and cheaper to do a small model to learn with.
Progress so far, Need to mirror what I've done aswell as doing a bit more work around the hatch opening.

Wow!
That's amazing Chris!

Well done!
Just think what you could do with the wing!!!

Looks like you guys are really snowed in!
You'll have to build a hot box for those conditions!
Epoxy doesn't like it..

J! She is in the bag!!!
Today I took the day of just to keep my word intact!
The lay ups where simple, not shore about final weight...
My 1st pump was giving me some issues, the switch was not working! I tried but no luck...
Lost some time preparing the replacement fridge pump, but in the end everything went OK!
I sincerely hope the foam does not implode!!! hope the epoxy sticks...
Tomorrow is D day... light a candle for me, say some prayers...

I made some pics, ill try to post later...

Houston I have a problem...

Almost 72hrs past and I have a a red painted side that just wont peel...
The paint is still tacky don't know why, the white side came of perfect!!!
One thing is certain, I´M ADDICTED to home made composites, the white side was like peeling an onion, U cant stop crying!!!
Whatever happens I'm making a sequel soon!
I'm going to give some more time to C if the paint dries...?
There was some reaction or something??? or maybe I epoxied the no wax side...
It might be a mad max style of a wing... but its my fault, after all I did a devil for graphics... red paint giving me issues... dark side of the force...

Ill be back!!!
