The throttle lead has 4 wires, built in RPM sensor maybe?

EDIT: No there are actually two leads.

Only let opponents fear, the Warriors; make opponents fear, is king.
▲ High-performance 50MHz microprocessor, fast response speed.
▲ multiple flight mode, a wide range of applicability:
● Aircraft - Airplane mode
● Helicopters - fixed speed off mode
● Helicopter - Wizard constant speed mode
● Helicopter - stored constant speed mode
▲ new fixed speed algorithms, excellent constant speed effect .
▲ excellent slow startup performance, completely eliminating drift phenomenon helicopter startup.
▲ flameout landing restart time is adjustable, can be manually interrupted flameout landing process and quickly restart the motor, avoid handling errors and crash.
▲ PWM frequency up to 32KHz, the drive motor is running smoother, quieter.
▲ industry's most powerful built-in high-power switch-mode BEC:
● Platinum-100A-V3: BEC output voltage 6.0V/7.4V/8.4V adjustable output current continues 10A, 25A moments;
● Platinum-50A-V3: BEC 5.2V/6.0V/7.4V adjustable output voltage, output current continues 7A, instant 15A;
▲ independent of speed (RPM) signal output interface, simplifying without aileron system peripherals.
▲ independent parameters set Interface (Program Port), for connecting LCD programmable box.
▲ independent parameters set the interface can run real-time output power transfer state data, with data transfer module can be real-time data monitoring and recording.
▲ professional electronic engineers can use ESC to run real-time output data to develop more applications.
▲ ESC firmware can be updated online.
▲ compact and rugged construction.

Are currently provided only version 50A and the 100, both with BEC.
the firmware is already perfect as it is.
expect an answer by hobbywing to update the firmware of the program box.
it currently does not connect with the V3

I was hoping users could update the platinum pro 120A HV OPTO with the updated governor algorithm.

this is not possible. I also had already asked hobbywing, but they told me that the processor is to limit its potential. In fact, the PL-V3 processor have changed (50mhz). inside, the hardware is completely different.

Geez man, here is something i thought they might have "fixed" and didn't. A lot of the motors people are using these days want 5 advanced timing... For instance, every single Scorpion motor in existence. Even the tiny little 3S Lynx motor has 5 timing as their recommendation. What is with Hobbywng only ever providing 3.75, and now 4 on the new ones. Otherwise you have to select something higher than 5. Why can't they just put a square 5 in there somewhere if so many motors recommend it...

Not for nothing, but Hobbywing has a deal with Gaui and their controllers are provided on the Gaui kits using Gaui branding. Also, every Gaui kit comes with a Scorpion motor with Gaui branding as well... Would make sense to release the new line with a 5 option, i would have thought. It probably only requires a firmware update, right?
