Using a Hobby grade TX it's very easy to have the switch controlling the flip mode in the wrong position and flip right into the ground on take off. It gets bumped and moved pretty easy.
Expert mode Top Led is red can look like Orange outside. Lift up and give it forward stick and it will flip right into the ground.
I know both of these pitfalls because they happened to me
And me. I must be a slow learner because it wasn't just once.

Awwww, I wanna fly. :/ Just shipped my defective back will have replacement soon. As we are on topics of programming stuff. Could I program the rudder to bind with the right stick with the forward and backward and the aileron with the throttle? With the DX6i transmitter? If I wanted to try to fly in mode 4, while setting up the channels, can I just switch the rudder and aileron? Put the aileron on channel 2, and the rudder on 4. Seems if it learned the channels that way mode 4 would be enabled. Anyone know if that will work or has tried it?

I don't see why it would not work. As the quad asks what channel is what how is it to know you changed it? I have not tried tho, I only have exp in mode 2.... boy would I be all over the place lol

idk, flying with the rudder on the right with the forward and backward movement to me would seem more like flying in a video game. And, never have flown fpv. . . but isn't that what video games are? Life like simulations? When I received my mode 2 controller I was really off-put by the aileron and the rudder assignments. Maybe it was just me. I'm sure I can get used to it.

Thanks. Its the one from RC-Drones.com

Everything in the picture is stock except for the frame and the upgraded LED kit (which makes it look amazing BTW). Cant wait to get back home from work and get back at finishing!

Yes it will take multiple types of motors.

What does it weigh?

I wish that they would list the weights of each frame so we can compare and make decisions based on them.

I have read that the ploy frame is heavier than the stock frame but not by much.

The carbon frames are lighter but I don't know wich one is lightest and or how much they weigh with the accessory plates added?

All the ones I see that list specs show a lighter weight than stock, and I can see why. You are eliminating a lot. Not only that but its more compact vertically.

The PFG Polycarbonate frame is a little heavier than stock. I weighed mine at 39 grams for the frame only. The top plate is another 7 grams or so by itself, plus the standoffs and screws to mount it. It is much more durable than the stock frame though, although I have now managed to break mine. Woodsturning is working on a Polycarbonate frame that is quite a bit lighter and eliminates the need for the motor mounts, so I believe that one is lighter than stock. I'm interested to see how that one turns out. He gave away some for testing, so I'm assuming he'll be selling them soon.
