After flying the big one, the micro sucks. It's so twitchy, wind affected, imprecise, and launches are extremely marginal at best. I had three micros from when they went on crazy sale. I finally totaled my original out. I'm saving one for occasional flights, but the other is for sale. I no have desire to fly them over the full size.

if you want to get rid of it please let me know. I would consider taking it off your hands.

There's no real comparison. One is a 2S micro and the other is 3/4S macro...or is that monster?
Two different tools in the toolbox.
If I'm making the 14 mile trip to the flying field, I wouldn't consider taking a micro, but if I'm going the 2 blocks to the local playground on a whim, there's no way I'm taking the big Stryker. The neighbors would be calling the police, and I would lose a nice place to fly.
On the other hand, I can take the micro, and boomerang my brains out without upsetting anyone, and it's a lot more fun than any of my other micro, with the exception of the Beast.

I converted a micro Stryker to 3S using an AS3X brick (had to disable AS3X): lots of fun and adrenaline rush! Still twitchy, but a lot of bang for the buck!

Hi, well they don't make strykers anymore. We can still get the C foam blanks.
I'm thinking of making a special kind of stryker ( part fiberglass ) not quite aiming for the blinding speed
everyone else seems to crave. I would like the stryker to glide naturally fast rather like a hotliner than to be pushed fast by the drive system.
I usually get mine up and coast around, dodge obstacles in tight landings down the street. Float.

Got 4 F27Q motors, how hi can we prop these beyond 6x6 and not burn out the pkz5616?

Well anybody think of doing this ... see pic. Just photoshopped, but, I think I'm gonna do it and light it up too. I want to make the whole stryker look like a classic car. Imagine a headlight, tail lights, and lit up cockpit, and something fitting a car motif idea in the wings to see in the dark. The stabs will be of course thinner and different, larger lights, and now I know just where to use that shiny chrome monokote I bought last year. ZZ Top Stryker.

I use a 7x6 sport prop on 4s with the stock motor.I have probably 100 flights on that prop/4s Lipo. I did upgrade to an Eflite 60A ESC. The stock 40A ESC is not big enough.
