While your up, the three wire's comming off the ESC are all one color and the motor has red, wht, and green. which wire's go's where only one wire is marked motor, this a dumb question I know, But I have been using brushed motors, this is my first brussless set up

It doesn't matter which wires go where. Switching any two wires will just reverse the motor direction.

So the red wire comming off the motor would connect to the wire marked motor on the esc, and the other two dont matter.

None of the three matter. It doesn't matter which wires connect where. If the motor turns the way you don't want, just switch any two wires and it will run the other way.
