Designed with the beginners in mind. there is a series of teaching video.
When you get the HFW400(RTF), you have to have the final assembly.

After the final assembly, you have to have the flight evaluation before flying.

It's a fun little flyer. As you would expect, it doesn't like much wind, Flies almost like a power glider in light breezes, though, and will fly a long time (sorry I haven't timed it) on the little 1S battery.
It's fussy about weight distribution. A few hand tosses with power off, checking your glide path, helps to get it right. You can scoot the battery fore and aft to balance it. If it stalls even a little on hand tosses it will drive you crazy porpoising under power.
Banggood needs to hurry and get spares in stock for it.

HiSKY_Janet -

Are you selling the brick (receiver) for this plane through Banggood? I'd like to buy some for scratchbuilt micro models.

Edit - I bought the module so I can fly my Micro-Buzz with my Taranis radio. So the receivers would work right with my plan.

A question for Janet : I would love to buy this plane, and so would several others at my indoor flying club. However, THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A MODE 1 VERSION - at least not on Banggood. We can't change from Mode 1 to Mode 2 - we have been flying Mode 1 for years and can't reprogram our brains.

When will there be a mode 1 version? OR, is this plane compatible with the HiSky H-4Q transmitter, which IS available from Banggood in a Mode 1 version?

Suggestion: If it IS compatible with the H-4Q, how about a bundle with the Buzz and the H-4Q, for the Mode 1 fliers?

Just realised from SlowJeff's post above that there is a module available for the protocol. So now I have another couple of suggestions:
How about a BNF version for people who have the module AND/OR
How about a package including the plane and the module, instead of the H4F transmitter, for those who already have a Taranis or other transmitter that could use the module?

We have the Mode 1 version. This airplane is compatible with H-4Q, H-6, X-6S transmitters. If you have the H-4Q, you can fly the HFW400 with it. If you have the Taranis or other transmitter that could use the module, you can buy the BNF+Module version. It will be workable too.

Hi Janet
Thanks for the very helpful reply. The BNF+Module version and the Mode 1 version don't seem to be available on Banggood yet. Will you be providing them soon to Banggood?
