You haven't heard back from TH yet. We will see what they say.

If it's no way the little brass pieces in the connector thaht's the problem, then, at this point, given that you eliminated the other possibilities, the servo is glued in etc... cutting it out and at least looking inside the servo can't hurt anything.

I did hear back that's where they reminded me of the warranty ends once glued in. I knew that as I'd read it before I just forgot.

I'm going to pull the servo tomorrow and take a peek. I'm gonna order some different servos (replacement plus spares) as well as props and prop saver bands etc tomorrow from a different vendor.

Thanks for your helpful tips by the way! TH told me to try a few things but you had beat them to it haha.

Good news, it was a bad solder on the inside of the servo. I was able to repair it myself and the servo works totally normal now, including full range of motion again.

Well my Random Airplane Aquisition Disorder (RAAD) got the best of me last night and I ordered one of these little green beasties. I went with the Sunnysky X2204 1800kv motor, ZTW 12A esc, digital servos from Buddyrc (new power brand IIRC?), Glacier 2S 450 mah batts, and both GWS and Tuff Prop size 8x4.3.

Can't wait to build it! This is my first TH aircraft.

You are going to be pleased. I've had (and have) a lot of planes, foamie and otherwise, and the MXS-C is probably the most fun of all.

You will enjoy it. However, try to get some 9 x 4.7 props from somewhere as I understand they are better for a 2S set up.

I'd stick with the 8x4.3 for a 1800 kV 2204.

I think you're maybe thinking about the bigger 2206 with lower 1500kV for the 9x4.7???

No, I'm not. The 2206/1500kv is the ideal 3S set up with 8" prop. The 2204/1800kv is the ideal 2S set up with 9" prop.

(At least, I hope so or I've done mine wrong )

I specifically researched this, and there are some varying opinions. I believe Cody himself recommended the 2204 1800kv 2S 8x4.3, but I saw other folks ran a bigger prop with success.

A 9 inch with 1800kv might strain your esc and motor, or might not depending on the setup.

I have ran both props on my 2204 and prefer the 9inch with 2s on my slick but I will say after flight it is hot on both props. Nothing beats the 2206 with 3s in the MXS-C if your looking for instant power.
