How to flash a KK2.0 board?

Hi all,

I have a KK2.0 board I am using on a Turnigy Talon tricopter. I want to update the firmware to improve the auto level, but have no idea how to do this. Can someone give me some advice on the hardware and software I will need? Also what I need to do once I have the hardware and software?

Also is there a way to do this on a mac computer or is it another PC only deal?

Thanks in advance!

I have some links to various info and videos on my Articles page http://www.flitelab.com/Articles.aspx
Not ones I've written but ones I've found that are very useful.

Thanks for the help! I feel at least I am on the right path now! Does anyone know if either of these flashing tools will work for the KK2.0?

Both seem to have a 6 pin adapter, but just want to make sure they will do the job (I prefer to buy locally if possible as Hobbyking takes FOREVER to deliver here in New Zealand).

Thanks!

That second link's USB programmer looks like what I use. but the cable matters, and Hobby King sends you the right cable and the entire setup is only $4 or $5. Or you could keep an eye out in the classifieds. i have seen 2 pop up in the past week or so.

I ended up just buying the second one - it has a 6 pin adapter which as far as I can tell is what the KK2.0 needs. Fingers crossed!
