Rogenstein1983,

It all depends on what you want to build. Coming from the scratch built indoor and micro forum, you already have a wealth of plans. It's just a matter of scaling the plans to the right size and modding for EDF. You can start with the Sticky thread at the top of the forum. There are links to a LOT of pioneering micro EDF builds, some predate the forum itself. Or just search the form for a particular jet you'd like to build. Additionally, you will find a wealth of info on EDF basics and how to mod prop plans for EDF. Good Luck and don't forget to share!

I would think most of the old jetex powered balsa kits would work.

Bert from Dynamic Foamy published the plans for the X-32 in this forum. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ht=x+32&page=4The plans are on post #54. The original design was made using the guts from a GP F-86. I used the the motor and fan from a UMX MIG with a 6 amp ESC with 2 micro servos which I had lying around. I have used both 3/16 foam board with the paper removed and 2mm depron from Rcfoam. Both fly well and can be built in a evening. The cost works out to about a dollar or two each. I think that you will find that with a few modifications the X-32 will be a good flyer.
