Centered the FC. Two good flights, on the third battery, no role right. Re-armed and it worked again.

The layout I chose is one of the three recommended in the instructions.

I would try moving the 450 so it is centered, and then take your Receiver and mount it on top, way from the arms.
Let me know how that works.

Forgot to note - When I am doing these control checks the quad is not even in the air, I give it just enough to get the motors spinning and then check, so the FC is not seeing any movement yet, it's just not letting the signal through.

I have sent this information to Dualsky because I have not seen anything like it. It sounds like some kind of connection issue since it is not consistent. But the question is where! Is in on the frame, receiver or internally on the FC!

I'm thinking along the same lines and this is my logic for thinking the FC may be bad - When I rearm it I don't pick it up, I just unplug and replug so there is minimal movement or vibration to shake a loose connector back into place. I doubt there is an issue with the arm-frame connection as the motors spool up with the throttle and react to rudder and pitch, so that connection seems to be working. In order to loose role control in one direction only means that two arms have to be affected simultaneously. I find it hard to believe that two parts are having identical random failures. If any of the wires between the FC, Rx, and frame were loose, I would have thought that would have been noticed when I moved the FC and Rx.

These are my thoughts.

Thanks for your help

So just to be sure, the MS2822 is the direct replacement for the Hornet stock motors?

Sorry to nag you, I was looking under the Hornet parts and not replacement shafts

The motors are 2830. We don't have any stock. It will be at least 2 weeks.

So, at what point do I give up and just take this thing back to the hobby shop? I've been grounded for a month now with no reply from Dualsky.

Props to 2dog for trying to get an answer but this is ridiculous.

I am putting together another Dualsky order today and will see if I can get you a replacement FC. Which do you have the 430 or 450?
