tamiya cc01 gears grinding fix

ok my cc01 unimog was making grinding noise i knew it was the spur gear
but it wasn't hopping and i found the fix for anybody who has the same problem
because it was a real pain in the

how i fixed it the pinion gear on the cc01 doesn't completely cover the spur gear
and the screw that holds the pinion was just barely touching the spur gear and was
clicking so i took the motor mount of and slid the pinion down and tighten it down
and it fixed it

my tamiya cc01 is making a grinding noise also with a loud wining noise i think its coming from the rear diff does anyone know how to fix this problem

most of the time when mine started grinding it because the spur gear is hoping make sure the spur gear is in there good no loseness my gear had a warped in it and caused it to grind when i got a new gear set i put little bit of hot glue in the spot where the spur gear sits and put the spur gear in and let it dry so the shaft dosent shift and no it never grinds even in high stress and in

if its in the rear axle look and see if there is a bushing there there were the shaft ends and after were the gear sits

now i remember what may be causing the trouble i took it to the beach a while a go but sand may have got into the gearbox causing the grinding sound

maybe i dont think thats the problem i mud bog mine stock and took it to the snow and it dosent grind for me
