FYI - Here is another option. These have the hooks already installed.

The stock prop is to large for that motor. Just right for this one.

How's the puppy coming along AJ? This might be off-topic but I'm sure many of us would like to know.

I'll be launching my plane over the wide and tropical Colusahatchee River from my backyard and my grandkids will man a SAR canoe. Is it true that you can drowned the electronics in "corrosion X" and you're good to go?

And I've been told by my flight instructor, just clean it out and let it dry. But he also told me, if your flying in salt water you're gonna have trouble!

Without going into too much detail, Sculptor is doing great. Here is a picture and I have a video that I have to upload. He poops about 5-6 times a day and has the runs. A Bissel carpet cleaner is on order. The vet gave us some medicine which he hates. I flew my Bix2 yesterday without much fanfare. I took a video but it would be boring to post it. Thanks for asking.

I solved my issue of the tight fit with the cables by enlarging the hole where the cables have to go through.
This makes it a lot more easy to get everything inside the fuselage.

The problem with the wings not screwing together I also solved, when holding them in place without the fuselage between them I saw that the holes did not lined up with eachother. So I cut away some foam so that they do fit.
Then I tried putting the screw in the wing that goes on top, that made the holes so the screws will fit in.
This solved my wing problem

So no messing with magnets or velcro

Bixler screw solution

Here’s my solution for the Bixler screw problem. I used some iron wire to easily place and remove the screws. I also used my Dremel to cut away some of the head of the screw. So far it still works

AJ, is "crow" the same as air brakes? Here in the River the wind is always coming out of the South and I live on the north side of the river. I should have no problem launching into the wind I'm gonna have to bring it back and landed coming down tomorrow have to put it down in about 50 feet of yard. I've never practice landing downwind. You think I can even get this plane on the ground coming downwind?

Angelo sculptor Baker is just gorgeous. Studying your photo of him I projected forward in time to what he will probably look like when he's fully grown. Then I knocked out this 3D sketch. See what you think.
