Quanum Venture Fail to Launch

Hi All,

I received a Quanum Venture (Power System Version), KK2.1HC and Turnigy 9x for Christmas, there may have been some subtle hints involved.

Unfortunately the KK2.1 was DOA (no display on the programmer) as was the replacement, so I'm now on my 3rd, which is alive and well.

However with everything wired up and looking well I cant get off the ground, at full throttle I get a little horizontal drift (~1-2cm maybe) but thats it.

I'm pretty sure the props are on correctly, so am at a loss.

Here's the Quad: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Version_.html
I'm also using a Turnigy 3S LiP0

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Daniel

Either your motors are not turning in the correct direction, or you have props on upside down or in the wrong location.
Find the picture on google of the prop direction diagram and 100% confirm that everything is right!!!

Thanks for the quick reply, thats what I assumed too and have triple checked everything to the best of my ability. Perhaps I'm reading the diagrams wrong.

Here are a couple of vids showing my propella setup

Thanks,

I dont think the props aren't upside down, they won't lock on to the motors if I flip them.

I'll try swapping left <> right in the morning.

Unfortunately switching the props around didn't help. It seems to be pulling into the ground now. Previously it would wobble a bit.

Any other thoughts?
