Yeah that will be too cool to get both T-38's in the mag..

The time line for the FPV in the Hawk will be close by Vegas. I just ordered a GoPro2 HD camera to replace the Sony cam I have now. The GoPro will be much better.

I will try and get er' done.

my fuse is now all glassed, and inlets are also made. so now its just body work, cockpit, landing gear install, servo install. ive got 4 weeks to wrap it up. i think i can make it, just need to stay focused!

just bring it in primer ...two tone grey .

Hi John,

I had one more flight scheduled for the 38 before Vegas but my dry lake bed isn't so dry anymore with all the rain we have been getting so I may just wait for Vegas. Will see if it dry's out in the next week or so.

Keep up the good work Nut... you can do it!!! If you maiden her the first day you get to Vegas on Thursay I may take an extra day off and be there to see it.

I will bring the radar gun again this year if you want to check speeds. Sometime during the event maybe you could radar mine on final to see what I am crossing the fence at on landing and I can check yours.

so the whole fuse is glassed....its wicked strong. so, my whole airframe, with ducts, without gear is 16.5lbs. so, looks like im going to be 33-34lbs. hopefully thats the last time my weight estimate goes up lol. its lookin good though. running out of time.....

When is Vegas? I cant find any info.

Cool, I would liike to talk quads with ya at the event. I just got the Witespy quadrino..havn't flown it yet but they seem like very cool flying machines. From a hover blast stright up 500 feet up to another hover, then forward flight what I estimate close to 100MPH all with goggles on...should be an E ticket ride for sure.

Accu weather extended 30 day forcast shows temps with a high of 78 and a low of 56 with lots of sun.

Going to stay in the low 100's until mid Sept, then drop to the high 80's and mid 90's tward the end of Sept. then drop furhter to the high 70's in Oct.

Keep at it guys. Vegas will be really amazing this year regardless of weather if these two 38's can fly together.
