Custom Frame & Instructional
With my newest design, my friend and I have decided to document the build process in a complete step by step instructional for those who are unfamiliar with the process. Our mission is to make an easy to navigate, thorough, and understandable video series that covers all of the steps and components thoroughly.
The build for our instructional series is based around our custom aluminum quadcopter frame. The frame design features upward angled front arms, allowing high speed shots while avoiding props in the picture. Specifically designed to carry a GoPro camera, the system will have a 3-Axis gimbal with both pitch and yaw control, servo controlled retractable landing gear for 360 degree pivoting shots, FPV goggle with on screen information display, and camera shutter control. Based on our previous builds and expected weight of our system, we anticipate the average battery life to be around 20 minutes.
