brushless motor help

Hi. I have a wind dragon 2 and would like to upgrade it to brushless, I still want to keep it in the range on a park flyer so I donít want to much power . Im really looking for longer flight time and a more stronger flight.
As im still quite new to the tech side I donít want to do any soldering is this all possible? Ive been looking at E-Flite Park 400 Brushless Outrunner - 920Kv with 20a brushless speed control.

Dose anyone recommend this?

The Park 400 will require a BIG prop. 9-10" SF prop, so it may not be what you are looking for.

A decent setup to use that will definately give you more power would be:

Motor

ESC

Battery

And an APC 6x4 prop. Should provide you with about 10 minutes of flying, and give you more power then you have right now.

You can avoid soldering by just using some butt crimp connectors, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Soldering is pretty easy and you can pick up a soldering iron for $20 easily. Is there someone who could teach you?

dazzzer1, check out the Wing Dragon/Wing Dragon 4/Begin-Air Series Planes Tips & Tricks thread. Down near the bottom of post #1 is a list of what others have put on their WD's. Maybe you can find what you're looking for there.

If you don't have an aversion ordering from HobbyCity, they have this TowerPro BM2408-21T / 18A BEC / 9x3.8 Prop Combo, or similar combos that will work just fine. You'll not be able to use the prop that comes with it, too long, so order some 7x3 - 7x6 slow fly props, too.
