Fried Bantam BC6 dual power charger
I fried my Bantam BC6 dual power charger due to over input voltage. I connected the 12V input directly to a 12V solar panel and it smoked one of the IOR F7413. I later realized the solar panel actually put out over 23 volts.
Anyway, I replaced one of the F7413 with Digi Key IRF7413PBFCT-ND, but it smokes as soon as power is applied. The charger is completely dead and won't power on now.
Any idea what else might be fried? Maybe I should replace both F7413 as well as the LM393.
Thanks for any suggestions.
