V100D01 with the HP06-2 pictures posted
Pictures are up of the HP06-2 motor with a custom 14T pinion I
put on it so it would work with the stock tail motor. RPM is 4,110 RPM. The HP06-2 runs so well with the stock L ESC and plugs that I will leave it like this. Maybe later on I'll install my CB100 L2 ESC and solder the motor wires to it. The pictures are in my review. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=51 Tom |

Motor Information
A lot of motor information has just been added to my review if you
want to check it out. I tried different main motors, pinions, and tail motors. It is in the notes section. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=51 Tom |

ESC update
Ok now that I found out my HP06-2 didn't want to start with
esc's before this was due to the pinion gear on the motor had some bad teeth on it and it couldn't turn the main gear smooth at all. This was enough to not let the HP06-2 start. So I put a new pinion on it and now the stock L esc, L2 esc, and L3 esc all start and run the HP06-2 perfect! No cogging at all either. So at least we have some choices on what esc to use. I then tried my XP-7A-2 EBAY BL ESC again. The main motor will still not arm but the tail motor will. Looks like the RX doesn't like the esc for some reason. It works perfect on my CB100. Tom |

RX problems reported to Walkera
Both my and your findings about the delayed throttle response and
motor not stopping right away when you cutoff the throttle in a crash has been reported to Walkera. I sent and email to wow and wow sent it to Walkera. It sounds like they should address this issue. Due to Dkfuji is not doing the review there is a chance Walkera will give me a re-flashed RX to test out once they correct the issues. This is just what I think might happen not what wow said. I will keep you all updated with any response on this issue. Tom |

Your welcome. I really like the HP06 w/14T and the stock tail motor. Second best is the 003 w/14T and the stock tail motor. Then for wicked power the 003 w/16T and 2.9G tail motor! I flew some more indoors today. It's a very strong helicopter now. Glad I was able to do the review. Not sure what else to add... Tom |

"Yosi had several flights with walkera stock 600mah battery without canopy. Average flight time is 5 - 7 minutes for hovering and circular flight at altitude of 1m."
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=329 That is nowhere near the 10-12 minutes that is claimed. Glad he timed it as I didn't get a chance to with all the other stuff I was doing for the review... Tom |
