You should try a APC 9x6 EP prop on that http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXPVF0&P=7 they work really good on the flight streaks and are way more efficiant than the prop you are using. if you look at the pic of my son's earlier in this thread you can see that i use1/16 aluminum angle iron for a real simple motor mount and i use some 047 music wire bent in a u throgh the fuse with hooks bent into it after it comes through. then i use rubberbands to simply hold the battery. i like everything exposed for cooling purposes.

until i run into overheating issues, I will go for aerodynamics. Must be a combat thing I may have to break down and buy a better prop. But so far my goal is to use up the batch of props I have in drawers and live with their performance.
