might be a noob 2 years in but i started out with a cox extra 300, plane is too small and any little bit of wind you cant fly it. plus it has no ailerons go with a 4 chanel, and if anything breaks like the motor cause it will, or a servo fails which is on a motherboard. you have to replace that whole board about 50$. that my reason

I too am wondering how they fly. And, how difficult it is to replace the brick with a Spektrum brick.

My name is Doug. I am a noob. I prefer to be called Doug over noob.

This is my first post here. This plane is my first attempt ever at flying an RC plane. Just came in the big brown truck today, going to try it out this week. Always wanted to get into it after years of building and running cars and trucks. Hopefully this was a good choice as a first timer. We will see. I will post my feedback here soon.

the brick/servos are about double the size of a spektrum brick. you could probably swap it out to one of the spektrum ultralite receivers and esc and use a couple sub-micro servos and even change the stock brushed motor to a brushless. would probably turn the thing into a rocket. or a lawn dart, one or the other...

It looks like a nice plane for just flying around and it looks efficient, that is, flight times should be pretty good. Perhaps the motor and radio gear from a Beast would be good in this plane, that way a good Spectrum TX could be used.

Pilot reports, let's have em, perspiring minds want to know.

Just flew mine. First time EVER flying an RC plane. I crashed a few times on the first flight, as to be expected. But on my second charge I was able to keep it in flight for 10 minutes w/o touching terra firma. Fun! I was surprised how quickly I was able to get the hang of it, even pulled off a couple of loops.
