Slopie noises
We here in NZ had a great session playing/ learning DSing and I thought, lets start a thread of loudest slopie.
So here goes with no.1, the swift composite at the end of the clip.

A Superblade or Vento in the roll. Like a Picolo-Pete.

Soooo...
What exactly creates that desirable sound? ![]() I know, some say it's an inefficient airflow over the control surfaces.... Yet some wings with wipers do and others don't! Is it the tempered skins on a hollow moulded wing? I would happily sacrifice some speed to achieve the sound! My recently completed hollow wing is strangely mute except for the rapid roll squeal. J Just wondering.... ![]()

Exposed pushrods whistle but some moldies with covered pushrods, and wipers really sing,
like my old Fazer F3J.
All wing surfaces are bottom hinged, top drive with the linkage mostly internal to the wing with small covers over the horns. All surfaces have wipers. ian |

Haha Steve, that sounds just like my Glass one!
My 60" Zipper makes a pretty sweet noise. Foam cores, ply/glass skins, internal pushrods on this one. Get yours from www.offtheedge.com.au
