When were these pictures taken? I don't think I've ever been there when there were so few people around!

Rancho San Antonio (RSA) is a great place to fly, one of the reasons being that it is rarely windy there. As you would expect, it's calmest in the early morning. In the summertime, the wind, if any, will be in the afternoon. Winter is a bit more unpredictible with a stiff breeze possible at any time of day depending on the weather. Even in the winter, however, I've found that if anywhere in the Bay Area is calm it's likely to be RSA. I don't get down there as often as I'd like because it's a bit of a drive from SF, but some of the folks here on the Zone who live around there go almost every day. They can probably give you a more accurate reading on the seasonal wind conditions.

These pictures never get old. I am getting ready to go up for my third sortie with this camera. I love it. I just need to get a slower plane than a twin 480
