A couple of guys have enlarged the plans already. You might want to go one of these routes.

The first link is at 110% and will still provide the Speedy with good speed but if you make it 900mm it will not go as fast.

I haven't used either motor but I would go with the top choice with 4s and the 4.75x4.75 prop they recommend. That should be a decent setup for a 900mm ws Speedy.

Quick question, I used dollar tree foam for this, when I tape it should I take the entire plane apart and tape each piece individually? And on both sides or just one side, and then glue it all together?

It's better to glue it first. It will be much stiffer when you tape it in one piece!

The whole plane gets tape. I always taped the wing and elevator before assembly then tape the rest of the plane but I don't think that part really matters much.
I did it this way because it was easier for me to tape like this.

I've scaled by 1.333 to get it to work for 9mm foam.

9\6 = 1.333

Parts came off my CNC fitting Just Right ! :-)

I may put an "on hand" inrunner in it with a smaller prop.

Should be interesting .

tape - DEFINITELY. !

I just built a HAMMER 3d and the designer recommended heavy packing tape.
It really stiffened up the whole structure.

I'm going to add tape to all of my High abuse Foamys !

Best

Cool Bob.
That should be a fun size to fly.

Well, I went 3DMON crazy. Lil' Ripper wasn't enough and here's the next plane. No maiden yet, too windy...

It's powered currently with salvaged AXN Floater motor, ~2150kv and ~20Amp max, so no speed records here. Hopefully it will be speedy enough for some fun flying, though. AUW ended up at 260g/9.2oz (with 1000mAh 3S lipo), so at least it's relatively light...

Once again, thanks 3DMON for the design!
