The nautical term (i.e. on a boat) for the thingie dingie is a "skeg"... I can only assume it has some other name on an aeroplane.

I like that idea. I have an Easy Star with ailerons that I had thought about doing that with. Are you going to be able to program the tx to move the rudder from left stick to the right one and disable the aileron servos? I have flown one on Real Flight with elevator on the right stick and rudder on the left and that was kind of awkard.
