Could have been better, could have been worse.
Skyfall isn't in theatres in the States (or Canada, ftm) until the 9th. Just get back from Britain?

My guess is it's pretty good. If Denzel Washington is in it I usually like it.

I never left the house to see it. I have my ways.

Being darn near born with a computer then being held captive indoors you develop skills.

Maybe you ought to give it a fair viewing, rather than via a pirate download site, or somesuch.

Let me guess. Zel is the hero and does something awesome to benefit others and gets brutalized for it. Then he does his signature lip jitter thing to reflect the tremendous anguish he experiences

Still like to see it but it will be Netflix

I like him better as the bad guy.

I've always fond Bond better on the big screen, myself. Lots of eye candy that's hard to compress. As for pirated movies, I'm betting a lot of visual effects would be lost on the smaller screen and poorer video quality. I enjoyed it. But we're all entitled to our opinions. Even wrong ones.

Saw Flight yesterday....the crash scene gets a thumbs up. John Goodman, an A for doing what he does best...(the exterminator in Arachnophobia and the sidekick, bowling addict with PSTD in The Great Labowski). Pretty sobering flick overall....

With the price of movies and add to that $15 for O2 I prescreen to make sure it's that good...

I gave Prometheous the benefit of the doubt... That was a mistake.

Taking the family out last night cost about $100 for tickets and popcorn, candy and what not. Kids saw Wreck it Ralf in 3D which they enjoyed, we saw Skyfall.

We buy the bathtub size popcorn and the water cooler jug sized soda and pass it around. We're cheap!

That wouldn't have worked last night with the different movies. Each kid HAD to have their own popcorn, one had to have a second 'cause she saw a school friend, they had a big hug (boys just don't do this) and of course she spilled most of her popcorn. 3D glasses were forgotten, so we had to buy new ones again. Everything costs. But hey, everyone had a good time, and dad's wallet got thinner. Life is good.
