GWS Beaver

Does anyone know any details about this plane? I love the beaver this could really be a must for my hangar
I saw it on the GWS website : http://www.gws.com.tw , but the link to it does not work

It looks like it might be another foamie slowflyer with the orange prop, but the picture was very small, and I couldn't tell properly.

Info anybody?

Same with the Zero that we've been hearing about. These must be 'coming soon'. The GWS line gets better and better! Beaver on floats!!

Thanks for the heads-up. Never knew there was a Beaver on the way.

It looks like they are in a new category called "Sport & Scale ARF", just guessing but this probably means they are not slowflyers.

GWS Beaver on floats!!

GWS Beaver on floats! My wife is worry about am I going to date young gril "Seven nights Six days!" like movie?

But GWS did it like this. Can not be painted as the one in movie!

Fuselage under tooling, float still under designed. With EPS-100C or EPS-300C powerful?

A DHC-2 would be a tremendously cool model! I have about 800 hours on the real thing, and I always found that it flew kinda like a slowflyer anyway. It seems to me like GWS is one of the best model companies out there, with their imaginative products, eager-to-please attitude, and constant innovation. I have now officially shed my sceptisism on the subject of foam as a structural medium. Anyone who wants a couple of good pictures of the dhc-2 Beaver in action on wheels, skis and floats is welcome to E-mail me.

Super! Keithr. So kind of you.

Glad to hear from your positive encoragement to GWS. We don't have real DHC-2 in Taiwan, all my referance from books, movie, and plastic models at this moment. It would be great to have more official information about DHC-2 from your support, thanks in advanced.

Wish we can makes sooner, so some one can fly it before snow melting!

May I suggest GWS get in touch with Airsail models ( www.airsailmodels.co.nz ) about a colour scheme. They also produce a beaver but it is a bit larger. Flies like a slowflyer though

BEAVER 280 STD
Length 695 mm
Wing Span 1010 mm
Wing Area 16.8
Flying Weight 290~350g

BEAVER 370 DX
Wing Area 16.8
Flying Weight 300~390g

Can't wait, but I'll have to do it in my favourite Beaver paint scheme #723.

Though I suspect others on this list might prefer this one.

Wow?

You gotta say WOW! and dance. These things are fun, cheap, and tough to bust. Get one soon. And, don't forget to paint it!
